An aircraft narrowly escaped a mishap after the pilot, who reportedly noticed a technical malfunction shortly after take-off, made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Wednesday.
As per available information, a Lufthansa Airlines flight bound for Frankfurt, Germany, departed from RGIA in the morning with about 160 passengers on board. However, shortly after the aircraft took off, the pilot detected a
technical issue with the landing gear.
The pilot then immediately alerted the Air Traffic Control (ATC) authorities on the ground. Responding promptly, a clearance was given and the flight was rerouted back to the airport. It made an emergency landing and touched down safely.
The passengers on board, crew members, and airport authorities breathed a sigh of relief.
