Mon 05 Dec 2016, 12:46:32
Under the influence of the upper air cyclonic circulation over its adjoining south Andaman Sea, a low pressure area has formed over the sea and Sumatra, extending up to mid-¬tropospheric levels. It is likely to concentrate into a depression during the next 24 hours and into a deep depression during the subsequent 24 hours, the Met department bulletin warned on Sunday.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to

occur at isolated places in the coastal districts from December 5 to 8, while dry weather will prevail in Rayalaseema. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
During the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday, rain occurred at a few places in Rayalaseema and at isolated places in coastal Andhra, with Kodur in Kadapa district recording nine cm of rainfall.
