Lorry hits trolley van in Mancherial, one killed

A man from Bihar was killed on the spot, while another sustained serious injuries, when a lorry rammed into a trolley van carrying milk cans in Hajipur mandal early on Tuesday morning.

Hajipur Sub Inspector Kiran Kumar said Devaji Kumar (26), a native of Dowlathapur in Bihar, suffered fatal injuries



when the lorry hit the trolley van at a curve, resulting in his death on the spot and injuries to Narendra Kumar Yadav of Uttar Pradesh. Narendra Kumar Yadav was immediately shifted to a hospital in Mancherial.

A case has been registered against the lorry driver and investigations have been taken up.
