Light to moderate showers in Hyderabad till Sept 7

The Hyderabad meteorological department on Thursday has issued a light to moderate rainfall forecast along with thundershowers in parts of Hyderabad and districts for the next three to four days.

While there is extensive cloud cover over multiple locations in the twin cities and even neighbouring districts, the chances of heavy to very heavy downpour look slim, due to lack of any major low-pressure systems.

However, light to



moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at multiple locations across Hyderabad and districts, the IMD, Hyderabad forecast indicated.

The moderate showers will be accompanied by strong surface winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 kmph in isolated pockets, IMD, Hyderabad added.

A similar weather pattern, of light to moderate rainfall along with windy conditions, has been projected till September 7 by IMD, Hyderabad.
