Siddipet: A leopard was reportedly sighted on the outskirts of Vaddepally village in Raipole mandal on Friday, triggering panic among local farmers.

According to villagers, the wild cat was captured on camera by some farmers, and the images quickly spread through local social media groups, intensifying fears in the area. The leopard is believed to have been roaming in and around Raipole for the past couple

of months.

Forest officials visited the site and collected pug marks to confirm the animal’s presence. They advised residents, especially farmers, to remain vigilant and avoid venturing into fields alone.

Concerned over their safety, the villagers have urged the forest department to capture the leopard and release it deep inside the forest.
