LB Nagar Metro Station overtakes the interchange station of Ameerpet Metro Station and is now being touted as the station with highest number of footfalls. LB Nagar station witnessed 14,145 footfalls while Ameerpet is at 13,974 commuters at entry. Both the stations are witnessing about 30,000 people each, counting both entry and exit figures.

On October 22, 1.77 lakh paid passengers commuted through the Metro Commuters using LB Nagar Station are increasing by the day. The Miyapur-LB Nagar stretch witnesses 3.15 minutes frequency during peak



hours, 6.30 minutes during least traffic hours and 8 minutes during off-rush hours, officials said, adding that 21 trains travel through these routes.

“Meanwhile, the Nagole-Ameerpet stretch has a frequency of 6.30 minutes during peak hours, 8 minutes during minimum peak hours and has 12 trains functioning along the stretch. The Corridor 1 in Miyapur-LB Nagar covers 284 trips and Corridor 3 of Ameerpet-Nagole covers 266 trips,” said the official statement. The total train trips were calculated as 550 per day.
