The last date of remittance of first installment of Rs. 81,000 toward Hajj expenses is 13th April. There is no possibility of extension in it. Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of Hajj Committee told that the last of 5th April was extended to 13th April.

All the selected Hajj pilgrims must deposit the said amount and submit PAN Card copy. If they don’t remit the first



installment, their seats would be cancelled. The amount could be deposited in State Bank of India or Union Bank of India. After depositing the amount, a copy of the challan should be submitted to State Hajj Committee. Prof. Shukoor also informed that 330 Hajj pilgrims who have been selected under general category should deposit their passports, photographs and medical fitness certificates.
