Land Survey Begins Near KCR’s Farmhouse At Erravalli

Revenue, land and survey officials on Thursday launched an extensive survey to ascertain the alleged possession of 388 acres of government land by BRS supremo and former chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in Erravalli in Sangareddy district. 

The exercise, which is likely to continue for another two weeks, was taken up following Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s announcement in the Assembly that he would reclaim 388 acres allegedly encroached upon by Chandrashekar Rao as part of his



Erravelli farmhouse and distribute the land to poor Dalit families.

Revenue divisional officer Chandrakala, land and survey department assistant director R. Sudarshan, tahsildars, revenue inspectors and other staff visited Erravalli as part of the survey. “Officials noticed that 388 acres of government land in Survey No. 325 formed one compact parcel. 

A further inquiry will be conducted to establish whether these land parcels have been encroached upon,” sources said.
