KTR vows legal action against media spreading falsehoods on phone-tapping allegations

Stating that the BRS will not stay silent while a malicious and politically motivated campaign seeks to tarnish the reputation of its leaders , the party Working President, K T Rama Rao made it clear that legal proceedings would be initiated against those spreading slander and unsubstantiated allegations on the so-called phone-tapping issue.

In a strongly worded statement, he condemned what he described as a



deliberate campaign of character assassination orchestrated by certain media entities acting as political tools for the Congress and its allies.

“It is evident that certain media houses, acting as extensions of the Congress and its allies, are deliberately peddling lies to mislead the public and defame our leadership. We will fight this character assassination with the full force of the law”, he asserted.
