BRS working president KT Rama Rao criticised both the Congress government in Telangana and the BJP at the Centre, accusing them of deceiving the people and failing to deliver on their promises.
He called on voters to teach a lesson to both parties in the municipal polls and back BRS candidates to initiate efforts to bring back K Chandrashekhar Rao as Chief Minister.
Addressing a roadshow as part of the
municipal election campaign in Vemulawada on Friday, Rama Rao said the Congress came to power in the State with unrealistic promises, but failed to implement even a single assurance.
He stated that the government’s administrative failures and inability to honour commitments had pushed people into distress. He wanted people to defeat the Congress in the ensuing municipal polls to ensure implementation of six guarantees and 420 promises.
