Government Chief Whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar along with Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Marri Yadava Reddy on Friday inspected the Bhadrakali bund promenade project which is scheduled to be inaugurated by Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) K T Rama Rao on June 17.

Speaking to the media persons, Vinay Bhaskar said that the 1.1 km long bund had been developed with a total of Rs 32 crore under the National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY) scheme by the KUDA.

“As part of the beautification project, walking track, seating area, playing area, viewing decks, bird walks, open air gym, children play area, parking area, lighting, street furniture and landscaping works have been taken up,” he said and hoped that this place would become a spot for the film shootings in the coming days.

“The bund development project was divided into



seven zones,” he said, adding, Minister K T Rama Rao would inaugurate the project on June 17 besides laying the foundation for the development of 1.9 km bund on the same day.

Vinay Bhaskar also said that the Minister would lay the foundation for the construction of Oxygen Park which would be constructed at the cost of Rs 4 crore at Rampur on the outskirts of Warangal city by the KUDA. 

“He will also lay the foundation for the construction of 100 double bedroom houses (2BHKs) in Wardhannapet constituency and 100 2BKHs at Kazipet,” he said and added that 592 2BHK houses would be allotted to the beneficiaries at Ambedkar Nagar in the city.

The MA&UD Minister would also inaugurate the development works taken up at the Jain temple. KUDA Project Officer (PO) E Ajit Reddy, EE Bheem Rao and other officials were present during the Chief Whip’s visit to Bhadrakali bund.
