BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday blamed the State government, particularly the Home Department, for the gruesome killing of six people by a POCSO accused at Shabad in Rangareddy district.
Condemning the incident, Rama Rao said the crime took place barely 30 km from Hyderabad. He alleged that the accused was granted bail despite the victim’s family warning the authorities about threats from him. The
accused later went on to kill six members of the family, he said.
Speaking to mediapersons, Rama Rao said the State government must take responsibility if accused persons released on bail committed such crimes.
He alleged that the Public Prosecutor failed to argue the case effectively and accused the State government, particularly the Home Minister, of failing to protect the victim’s family.
