KTR slams Telangana Govt over cotton procurement crisis

Coming down heavily on both the State and Central governments for what he called the worst ever crisis faced by cotton and soybean farmers triggered by the collapse of the government procurement system.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working president KT Rama Rao on Tuesday announced that BRS would fully support the



nationwide highway blockade called by farmer unions on November 21 in Adilabad and appealed to farmers to participate in large numbers.

He visited the Adilabad Market Yard, which remained deserted due to lack of procurement activity and interacted with farmers and shared their concern over failure of the government agencies.
