KTR questions Rahul Gandhi on govt job promises

Amid the ongoing protests by unemployed youth and students for government job notifications, BRS working president KT Rama Rao condemned the police excess and detention of job aspirants. 

He demanded that Congress Lok Sabha leader Rahul Gandhi respond immediately and direct the State government to implement its electoral promise of providing



government jobs.

Speaking to mediapersons at his Nandi Nagar residence on Friday, Rama Rao termed the police lathi charge against unemployed youth and students as a brutal assault for merely questioning the Congress government’s failure to issue job notifications. He said the Congress had betrayed the very students it courted before the elections.
