KTR meets Venkaiah Naidu for financial aid

Mr. KT Rama Rao, Minister for Municipal Administration, Govt. of Telangana met Urban Development Minister, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu in New Delhi and apprised him of the damages caused by the torrential rains recently. He sought financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 1189 crore from the center.

Mr. KTR also met Union Minister for Railways,



Mr. Suresh Prabhu and steel Minister, Mr. Birender Singh. He requested Railway Minister to release funds for Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. He also demanded the Central Govt. to abandon fees which is being collected by South Central Railway at Railway Crossing. He requested the steel minister to establish steel factory in Khammam.
