KTR meets GHMC corporators, calls for fight with renewed rigour

BRS working president KT Rama Rao assured that every Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Corporator who stood by the party and served with commitment would be rewarded with more posts in the future.

Speaking at a meeting with corporators at the BRS Bhavan on Monday, Rama Rao said the corporators would have a bright future, particularly in the context of the upcoming women’s reservation and the delimitation of constituencies. The meeting was convened to discuss strategies for the final GHMC council meeting scheduled for Tuesday.

He guided the corporators on key issues and congratulated



them for completing their tenure without corruption or irregularities. Rama Rao recalled the services rendered by the GHMC corporators during the Covid pandemic after the party won the corporation elections for the second time.

He also lauded the Hyderabad corporators for raising critical issues and fighting on behalf of the people after the party assumed the responsibility of the opposition in the State.

“I compliment and congratulate the BRS corporators for the way they fought the Jubilee Hills by-election. Every corporator, who stood by the party will get more posts in the future,” he said.
