KTR lauds SCCL's record growth

TRS working president KT Rama Rao was all praise for Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) after its sales shot up from Rs 11,928 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 25,828 crore in 2018-19, registering a record 116.5 per cent increase in five years of the State’s formation.

He said the company grew exponentially in last five years under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

In a tweet, Rama Rao said: “Profits have grown from Rs 419 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 1,600 crore in 2018-19 which is 282 per cent growth. My compliments to the employees of SCCL and its chairman and managing director N Sridhar”. SCCL emerged as one of the best-performing State-owned entities in the country in recent times. It outstripped the eight top ‘Maharatnas’ companies such as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Coal India Ltd.
