KTR, Harish Rao floral pay tributes to Telangana Poet Ande Sri

BRS working president KT Rama Rao paid his last respects to renowned Telangana poet and lyricist Ande Sri at the Professor Jayashankar Stadium in Lalapet. Expressing deep grief over his passing, Rama Rao said Ande Sri’s writings and songs would remain immortal in Telangana’s history and cultural identity.

“His death is an irreparable loss to Telangana’s



literary and social fabric,” he said, offering condolences to the bereaved family. He recalled Ande Sri’s unmatched contribution to the cultural movement that inspired the statehood struggle.

Former Minister and senior leader T Harish Rao also paid floral tributes at the venue, describing Ande Sri’s death as a profound loss to Telugu literature and Telangana society.
