Mounting pressure on the Congress government over the Group-1 fiasco, BRS working president KT Rama Rao has demanded a special session of the Telangana Assembly to debate the Congress government’s fraudulent promise of providing two lakh jobs within a year.
He said the government must treat unemployment as a serious crisis and deliver results through action, not empty rhetoric.
In a
statement, Rama Rao came down heavily on the Congress government following severe charges against the offices of the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues, accusing them of selling Group-1 posts for huge amounts.
Referring to allegations by several students in the media, he said candidates had claimed that money was openly demanded in return for jobs. He urged the government to respond to the charges immediately.
