BRS working president KT Rama Rao said the protests witnessed in New Delhi vindicated his earlier warning that India could witness a Gen Z movement if the aspirations of the country’s youth continued to be ignored.
In a post on X, Rama Rao shared a video of his interaction at the NDTV Yuva 2025 – The Mumbai Chapter conference held on September 20 last year,
where he had cautioned that frustration among young people over unmet aspirations could trigger large-scale protests.
“A Gen-Z protest is imminent in our country if the aspirations of youngsters are not addressed. After yesterday’s Delhi protest, it is high time for the Union government to address the demand for accountability and education reforms,” he said.
