KTR confident of retaining Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahbubnagar MLC seat

BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed confidence that the party would retain the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahbubnagar Graduates’ MLC seat in the forthcoming elections and called on party leaders to focus on voter enrolment. He said the party had a favourable environment to retain the seat and urged leaders to ensure that every eligible graduate was enrolled as a voter.

Rama Rao held district-wise meetings with party leaders from Hyderabad, erstwhile Rangareddy and Mahbubnagar districts at Telangana Bhavan on Monday.

Rama Rao wanted party leaders to prioritise voter



enrolment and ensure that eligible graduates, including members of party leaders’ families, registered as voters. He also referred to a recent meeting with party leaders from erstwhile Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda districts, where they expressed confidence about winning the other Graduates’ MLC seat.

Meanwhile, the former minister, who enrolled as a voter for the upcoming Graduates’ MLC elections in Hyderabad on Monday, urged all eligible voters to register and exercise their franchise. He called upon graduates to fill in the relevant forms and register their names to fulfil their democratic duty.
