Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao expressed shock and grief over the untimely death of India Today video journalist Damodar.

Describing Damodar as a long-time media friend known to him since the days of the Telangana movement, he prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.

As soon as Rama Rao learned that Damodar had fallen seriously ill, he personally inquired about his health

condition and directed party leaders to ensure the best possible medical care without delay.

Following his instructions, Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Qutbullapur MLA KP Vivekanand and MLC Shambipur Raju remained at the hospital, closely monitoring the situation.

They coordinated with the hospital management and ensured every possible emergency measure, including CPR and other critical interventions. Despite their best efforts, Damodar could not be saved.
