KTR condemns assault on Alampur MLA, demands action

BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday strongly condemned the verbal abuse and physical assault on Alampur MLA and BRS leader Vijayudu by Congress MP Mallu Ravi, terming it a direct attack on democratic values. He said the incident exposed the intimidatory politics adopted by the Congress to



silence the opposition.

Rama Rao said the assault on an elected MLA showed the Congress’ disregard for the Constitution and rule of law. Demanding an immediate apology from Mallu Ravi, he asked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to take moral responsibility and initiate action.
