BRS working president KT Rama Rao castigated the Congress government, over a serious decline in humanitarian and emergency services under its rule in Telangana.
Reacting to the recent incident in which family members were reportedly forced to carry a deceased person on their shoulders due to the absence of a hearse vehicle, he said the episode
reflected the collapse of dignity and governance in the State.
Recalling the previous BRS regime led by K Chandrashekhar Rao, Rama Rao said dedicated vehicles were arranged to transport mortal remains so that even poor families could perform the last rites of their loved ones with dignity. “That was governance driven by humanity and compassion,” he remarked.
