KTR calls for grand celebration of Deeksha Diwas on Nov 29

The Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) will observe Deeksha Diwas across Telangana on a grand scale on November 29. 

Party working president KT Rama Rao directed party ranks to make it a grand event commemorating the historic fast unto death undertaken by party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao 15 years ago as part of the fight for



Statehood.

Addressing party MLAs, MLCs, MPs, district presidents and general body members through a teleconference on Saturday, Rama Rao called the occasion the most significant chapter in the history of the State. 

The BRS president had embarked on the fast with the slogan “Telangana vachudo – KCR Sachchudo” (Either Telangana or KCR’s death) demonstrating his firm resolve to achieve Statehood.
