The ruling TRS, which has maintained utmost patience over the Oppostion parties’ abusive criticism for the past seven years, has decided to turn aggressive and respond strongly to the Opposition parties in multiples.

In a stern warning to the Opposition parties, TRS working president KT Rama Rao asked them to mend their ways especially desist from using foul language, failing which he wanted the TRS party leaders to react strongly and fittingly.

He said the TRS leaders have maintained utmost patience and discipline for the past seven years since the State formation, but the foul language of the Opposition parties against the TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will not be tolerated any further. He also announced that the party will recognise the cadre who strive hard for the party and fill the 500 nominated posts soon.

Addressing the general body meeting of the TRS Greater Hyderabad committee at Jala Vihar here on Tuesday, Rama Rao strongly objected to the abusive language being used by the Opposition leaders against a senior politician and elderly person like Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao. He pointed out that without Chandrashekhar Rao fighting and achieving Telangana State, neither of the State units of Congress and BJP would have existed.

He said TRS has emerged as an unstoppable force in the State with over 60 lakh members, while the so-called national parties of Delhi were resorting to silly

politics.

The TRS working president announced that the Hyderabad city party office will be constructed soon, following the constitution of 150 division committees as well as 4,800 colonies and 1,486 Basthis (slums) committees. The party has decided to set up a social media committee for each municipal division. About one lakh activists are expected to lead all these committees.

He said the party will soon decide on whether to constitute the Greater Hyderabad Committee again or separate committees for Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal Malkajgiri areas. The formation of the committees would be completed before September 20 and training workshops will be held for the party committee members after Diwali.

Rama Rao termed the Huzurabad by-election as just another election that does not require much attention. He said the Chief Minister was fully aware of the needs of the poor and no other party can have any impact on TRS as long as the poor had their blessings on the party. “We are moving forward with the twin goals of welfare and development.

The TRS president who formed the party in 2001 to achieve Telangana State, had launched the Statehood movement and achieved Telangana State,” he said. TRS secretary general K Keshava Rao, Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mohd Mahmood Ali, P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Ch Malla Reddy, MLAs, MLCs, corporators and other party leaders, also addressed the gathering.
