Komatireddy Questions KCR On Delay In Palamuru-Rangareddy Project

Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Sunday questioned former chief minister and BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to explain why the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme remains unfinished, despite his promise to complete it within three years. 

The Minister took part in several development programmes in the Devarakadra constituency of Mahabubnagar district, presided over by MLA Madhusudan Reddy. Minister Vakiti Srihari was also present.

Venkat Reddy alleged that KCR had made tall claims that he would personally oversee the project's completion. Instead, he said, KCR "ran after Kaleshwaram" for the sake of commissions. 

Turning to BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the Minister said he had won six times as an MLA by staying among the people and working for them. 

KTR, he mocked, became an MLA only by using his father's name. He also said the government is spending Rs 1,600 crore on road development in the district. Officials and local public representatives attended the meeting.
