Kolkata Flight Returns to RGIA After Passenger Becomes Unconscious

An IndiGo flight bound to Kolkata failed to take off and immediately returned to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad after a passenger became unconscious onboard. 

The incident occurred when the aircraft was heading to the runway to take



off. The aircraft did not take off after a passenger identified as Karuppaiah Muthuram complained of health problems.

 The flight returned to the bay and within a few minutes the staff rushed the passenger to Apollo medical centre at the airport.
