The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its by-election campaign in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency, directing its criticism towards the Congress and in the process, projecting itself as a viable alternative.
The campaign strategy revolves around alleging failures and corruption on the part of its rivals.
Union Minister for Mines G Kishan Reddy on Saturday took part in a door-to-door campaign in Rahmathnagar, Om Nagar, Brahma Shankar
Nagar and NSB Nagar, urging voters to support BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy.
Kishan Reddy alleged that the BRS, despite being in power for two terms, had failed to resolve civic issues in the Jubilee Hills constituency.
He claimed that except for Jubilee Hills, neighbouring Assembly constituencies, including Khairatabad and Serilingampally, had developed on all fronts. Reddy described Jubilee Hills as ‘Samasyala Hills’ (hills of problems).
