Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, attended the 19th 'Rozgar Mela' held at Rail Kalarang, Secunderabad, on Saturday. 

During the event, Kishan Reddy distributed appointment letters to 218 newly recruited candidates across six different central government departments. 

The 19th tranche of the nationwide 'Rozgar Mela', was organized by the Central Government across 47 locations and distributed



appointment letters to around 51,000 recruits. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the event.

Addressing the gathering, Kishan Reddy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the 'Rozgar Mela' initiative not only to provide employment but also to empower the unemployed youth of the nation. 

He highlighted that since 2022, lakhs of youth have secured central government jobs through mega recruitment drives.
