Stating that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy‘s approach to the Musi riverfront beautification project was detrimental to the poor, union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy said the State government should provide necessary facilities to people whose houses were being demolished in the Musi catchment areas.

Speaking to the media on



Friday, Kishan Reddy said a large number of people were residing at the Musi catchment areas for over 40-years and that the government cannot just demolish their houses without providing them some kind of rehabilitation.” Drainage water is discharged into Musi. It is essential to address drainage issues prior to any beautification efforts,” he said.
