The Government Railway Police and the Railway Protection Force rescued a three-year-old who had been kidnapped 12 days ago and reunited him with his family on Thursday.
Upon receiving him, his mother said: “We have not slept a single moment since he was kidnapped.” Police said his grandmother had brought the infant on June 20 night to
the Secunderabad railway station to catch a train to their native place in Khammam district when he was kidnapped.
The grandmother lodged a complaint and the GRP and RPF set about analyzing CCTV footage, They found the kidnapper taking away the infant and traced him to a hotel room where he had checked in without providing ID papers.
