Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao formally launch ‘Janahita’, a programme aimed at interacting with a cross section of people on February 17 which happens to be his birthday.
The first meeting of Janahita will be with the family members of deceased journalists wherein the Chief Minister would hear their woes and take measures to



address their grievances. 
The Chief Minister reviewed the welfare activities for the journalists at Pragathi Bhavan on Tuesday and announced that the government would allocate Rs 10 crore every year for journalists’ welfare. Besides helping the families of journalists who died, help would also be given to those who fall sick.
