KCR to attend Mahankali Bonalu on July 29

Bonalu festival will be celebrated at Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad on July 29, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said yesterday.

The minister visited the temple yesterday and held a review meeting with the officials. Speaking on the occasion, Talasani said Chief Minister K



Chandrasekhar Rao will be attending the ritual at the temple at 11.30 am. Some 2,000 women will come in a procession carrying traditional Bonalu and present them to the presiding deity. Elaborate arrangements were being made for the mega festival to be thronged by a large number of people.
