Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday reiterated that he will not seek votes if safe drinking water is not supplied to every house before 2019 polls.

Reviewing Mission Bhagiratha works at Pragati Bhavan, KCR exuded confidence of completing the project four to five months before elections. He said 95% of the main grid (main pipeline laying) works are completed, 75% of the total project works, including laying of secondary pipelines, are completed and internal

works in villages like fitting of taps are in progress.

He wants special action plan for fluoride-affected areas and in agency region. “Fix Dasara as the deadline and finish internal works in villages. In all, the works under Mission Bhagiratha should be completed by December end,” KCR told officials.

“Many states are studying our programme to implement in their states,” added KCR.
