BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended Republic Day greetings to the people on Monday, emphasising the significance of the Constitution as India marked 77 years of becoming a republic.

Recalling the historic journey of self-governance in independent India, Chandrashekhar Rao recalled the pivotal role of Article 3 of the Constitution in the formation of Telangana. He said the provision remains a reminder of how constitutional mechanisms enabled the democratic realisation of the

statehood aspiration.

He wished that India would continue to progress in line with the ideals of Dr BR Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution, with citizens living in equality and free from discrimination. He reiterated that the BRS would continue in its efforts to safeguard constitutional rights in Telangana.

Party working president KT Rama Rao also greeted citizens on the occasion, calling Republic Day as a celebration of India’s commitment to freedom, equality, and fraternity.
