Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who was accorded a hero’s welcome upon his return to Hyderabad at the Begumpet airport, asserted that the water woes of TS would end once the pending projects across Rivers Godavari and Krishna are completed.
Addressing thousands of party activists and farmers who reached the airport from across the state, Mr Rao paid huge compliments to “Yuva  Nayakudu” irrigation minister T. Harish Rao for working round the clock to pave the way for the accord with Maharashtra.
Scores of artistes performed ahead of the colourful rally to the camp office choking traffic for couple of hours on the busy Begumpet road.
