Kavitha Secures TRS Party Name Approval from Election Commission

The Central Election Commission has officially approved the name TRS (Telangana Rakshana Sena) for a new political party floated by K. Kavitha.

The approval has been formally communicated, confirming the party’s registration under the proposed



name. 

Kavitha had earlier announced the party name on April 25 during a meeting held at Advaya Convention in Medchal, near Hyderabad. 

At the event, she introduced the party as Telangana Rashtra Sena, also abbreviated as TRS.
