Kavitha Says, Budget of no use for Telangana or its people

Hyderabad: Despite being the BJP government's last full budget, BRS MLC K Kavitha called the union budget for 2023–24 a disappointment for the people of Telangana and several other states. She stated that the people of Telangana would not benefit from the new tax regime's income tax rebate of up to



Rs 7 lakh.

"The mathematical confirmation of the Modi government's failure is this budget. This appears to be a state budget. We anticipated a tax deduction of up to Rs 10 lakh. Kavitha stated, "This rebate is of no use to us because we pay good salaries to people in Telangana."
