Telangana Jagruthi president and BRS MLC K Kavitha on Wednesday challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to an open debate in the Assembly over the Congress government’s failure to implement its six guarantees. She demanded that the government initiate a discussion on the promises made to women, senior citizens and differently abled
persons.
Speaking to the media at the General Post Office in Abids, Kavitha accused Revanth Reddy of resorting to lies and distractions instead of fulfilling the welfare schemes promised during the elections. She said that even after 18 months in power, the Congress government has failed to increase social security pensions for the elderly, differently abled, and other beneficiaries.
