In a coordinated effort to alleviate traffic congestion and ensure smooth vehicular movement around the KBR park premises, high-level officials from various departments conducted a joint field inspection on Wednesday morning to review the proposed One-Way traffic system.

The joint inspection saw the active participation of GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar and Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D. Joel Davis along with representatives from executing construction agencies and senior police officials.

From 7 am to 9 am, the top officials walked nearly five kilometers

around the perimeter of KBR Park, closely inspecting the roads and major intersections. They visited key locations including Agrasen Junction, Film Nagar, Journalist Colony, Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills Check Post, and the main entrance of KBR Park to study the ongoing traffic patterns.

The officials discussed the challenges encountered during the recent one-way trial run conducted as part of the 'H-City' project. Identifying that narrow road stretches at certain points were causing traffic bottlenecks during peak hours, the officials directed the GHMC staff to immediately undertake road widening works at those specific spots.
