Karimnagar Commissionerate police arrested six thieves and recovered property worth Rs 20 lakh from them.

Producing the accused before the media on Saturday, Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam explained the modus operandi of the offenders.

During a vehicle check at Gumplapur crossroads



in Choppadandi town on Saturday, police found six persons travelling in two goods carriage vehicles under suspicious circumstances.

On questioning, they confessed to committing 15 offences, including theft of 12 agricultural pump sets, copper wire and three animals in rural parts of Karimnagar.
