Karimnagar: District Collector Pamela Satpathy has set an example for other public servants by opting to undergo surgery at a government hospital.

The Collector, who had been experiencing persistent headaches, nasal congestion, sinusitis and breathing difficulties, had been on medication as prescribed by ENT specialists.

Seeking a long-term solution, she underwent endoscopic nasal



surgery and septoplasty at the district headquarters government hospital on Sunday.

A team of doctors, led by hospital superintendent Dr G Udaya Veera Reddy, successfully performed the procedure.

ENT surgeon Dr L Ravikanth, Dr Sandeep, Dr Madhumitha, anaesthetist Dr Shanthan Kumar and other medical staff were part of the surgical team.
