Kamareddy Man Feared Dead Near Russia–Ukraine Border

Afzal Khan, a native of Banswada in Kamareddy district, is feared to have died while fighting for Russia near the Russia–Ukraine border.
According to reports, Afzal Khan travelled to Russia on February 15, 2026, after being promised a
civilian job in the oil industry.

Sirshu Ashok, who also travelled to Russia under similar circumstances, sent a voice message to his wife claiming that Afzal Khan had died last week while fighting near the Russia–Ukraine border.
