Bharat Rashtra Samtihi (BRS) turncoat MLA from Station Ghanpur constituency, Kaidyam Srihari reportedly urged the Speaker G Prasad Kumar to give him more time in the disqualification case. 

Sources said Srihari called on the Speaker on Friday after he was issued notice to appear for hearing on the disqualification petition filed by the party.

The Speaker on Thursday had



instructed both the Station Ghanpur MLA and Khairthabad MLA Danam Nagender to appear before November 23. 

However, the Station Ghanpur MLA met the Speaker at his residence on Friday.

Kadiyam Srihari reportedly had sought more time to respond to the notices served by the Speaker. It is learnt that the Speaker had responded positively to the MLA’s appeal.
