Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Friday directed all school education officials to make elaborate arrangements to ensure that State Formation day celebrations be held on a grand scale on June 2.

Schools are being re-opened on June 1 to facilitate students participate in the celebrations, he said, adding that sufficient fund will be provided to all the schools for celebrations.

The Minister who convened a meeting with all the District Educational Officers had directed them to provide books and uniform to



students before re-opening of the schools.

The Minister said from the next academic year, students of class IX and X will also be supplied with uniforms besides over 8 lakh students given health and hygiene kits.

During the meeting, the officials were directed to ensure that no teacher works in the DEO and MEO offices besides they have been instructed to prepare teachers seniority list without any glitches.

Officials will be held responsible in case of mistakes, the Minister said.
