The Kacheguda–Miryalguda–Kacheguda DEMU Passenger train has been extended up to Nadikude with stoppages at Kondrapole halt, Vishnupuram and Pondugula on the extended portion.

The South Central Railway (SCR) in a press release said the extension of the service follows the Indian Railways proposal to extend 22 pairs of train services and provide additional connectivity between various places in the country.

These extensions have been planned by utilizing the lie-over periods of the



existing trains at their respective terminating stations and will help in more gainful utilization of Coaching Stock and augment revenue of Indian Railways.

The trains were extended using present assets with maximum utilization, the release added.

Similarly, the Secunderabad–Tandur–Secunderabad MEMU service is extended up to Chittapur with stoppages at Chittapur, Mantatti, Kurgunta, Seram and Malkhaid road on the extended portion.
