Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan on Wednesday appointed as chief justice of Telangana High Court and the orders have been passed in related to it by the Union ministry of law and justice joint secretary Rajinder Kumar Kashyap. 

Currently, Chauhan is functioning as Acting Chief Justice. Governor ESL Narasimhan will administer the oath to



Justice Raghavendra Singh in a day or two. The appointment issued following the transfer of former Chief Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan to Calcutta High Court. Meanwhile, the law ministry appointed senior High Court judge Justice V Rama Subramanian as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
