Junior Artist Sexually Assaulted on Pretext of Film Shoot In Hyderabad

Two men allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Secunderabad after taking her from Jubilee Hills on the pretext of a film shoot. The incident came to light on Tuesday after the victim filed a complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station. 

According to police, the victim and her friend live near Jubilee Hills Check Post Metro Station in Yousufguda and work as background/junior actors in films. A man approached the victim, saying there was a film shoot scheduled, and asked her to accompany him.

Secunderabad. There, the man and his friend allegedly sexually assaulted her in a room for over two days. On May 16, the accused booked a Rapido bike and sent the woman back home.

Her friend noticed injuries on her body and took her to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. During the medical examination, the victim disclosed the assault to the doctors. 

Following this, she lodged a complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station. Police have registered a case against the two men and begun an investigation to identify and apprehend them. Further inquiry is underway.
