The Election Commission of India on Monday announced that the Jubilee Hills by-election would be held on November 11 and the counting of votes would be on November 14.

The Model Code of Conduct came into effect in the city with the announcement of the bypoll. Nominations can be filed from October 13 and the



last date for filing nominations is October 21. 

The last date for withdrawal of candidature is October 24.

The by-election in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency was necessitated due to the demise of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath on June 8 this year.
